The amorphous silica made by German Netzsch equipment is a high-performance additive, serving as a matting, anti-blocking and antiblocking agent. It can fully substitute similar products like AB905 from American PQ Company and Sylobloc series from Grace. Widely applied in plastic masterbatches and films such as polyolefin and polyester (PET), as well as in combinations with PP, PE and PVC. Its porous nature effectively reduces adhesion and molecular cohesion, minimizing the adhesion tendency to ensure efficient production and use.

Working Principle
Polymer macromolecules' strong intermolecular forces cause film layer adhesion, leading to processing and handling issues. Introduction to Opening Agent Silicon Dioxide
The chemical properties of the product are stable, which can effectively prevent film adhesion, reduce friction coefficient, make film winding smooth, reduce wrinkles, make it easier to perform secondary slitting or unwinding of the film, and facilitate the uniform migration of lubricants or anti-static agents.
In terms of functionality, the main function of the opening agent silica is to prevent material adhesion. In the production process of plastic film, for example, adding opening masterbatch made of silica to polyethylene and polypropylene films can form small protrusions on the surface of the film, reduce the contact area between films, and thus reduce the friction between films, making the film smoother to open without adhesion.
Our product has good dispersibility and does not produce many crystal points. The particle size is moderate and evenly distributed, and it is not easy to block the filter screen. The refractive index is similar to that of the resin, which minimizes the impact on the transparency of the film, reduces equipment wear, and has a natural and uniform color. It does not scratch the surface of the film and does not affect the packaging effect.
For specific applications, synthetic silica opening agents with a particle size of 3-8 μm are generally used in powder form. They must first be mixed with a certain amount of carrier resin through a twin-screw extruder to melt and plasticize them into 5-10% high concentration masterbatch. Then, they can be added to the film product in a certain proportion and mixed with other additives to form composite masterbatch. For resin manufacturers, a small amount of 0.1% to 1% is added to the polymer production process to make specialized materials for downstream film manufacturers to use. It is suitable for common varieties in the industry, and the amount of opening agent added varies according to different types of films.
